    二、主要研究方向 (Research Interests)

    大脑的信息编码机制及其细胞、基因基础是21世纪未解的重大谜题之一。神经元与脑认知功能课题组以单细胞测序技术为基础,膜片钳测序技术为核心,结合各种先进的环路解析手段、在体电生理及光成像记录技术,旨将大脑皮层的信息加工过程和神经元功能及其基因表达相关联,并在此基础上将大脑的信息加工过程、疾病认知异常归因为神经元一般机制、关键细胞类型和关键分子通路。课题组目前主要有三个研究方向: 
    1. 衰老中认知异常的神经环路及基因机制 
    2. 灵长类高级认知功能的神经环路机制 
    3. 脑发育及退行性疾病中认知异常的神经环路及基因机制 
    The Brain Mechanism of informationprocessing and its cellular/genetic basis is one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in the 21st century. The Laboratory of Neuron and Brain Cognition will focus on understanding the information processing in cerebral cortex. Our study is based on single-cell sequencing technology, with patch-clamp sequencing technology as the core, also including various advanced circuit analysis methods, in vivo electrophysiology and optical imaging recording technologies. With these techniques, we will try to correlate brain function with neuronal function and gene expression. Therefore, the brain's information processing process and cognitive abnormalities in diseases can be attributed to the general features of neurons, key neuronal types and key molecular pathways. The research group currently has three main research directions: 
    1. the neuronal and molecular mechanism ofcognitive decline in brain aging; 
    2. the neuronal and molecular mechanism ofprimate higher cognitive function; 
    3. the neuronal and molecular mechanism ofcognitive dysfunction in brain diseases. 

     

    三、科研领域描述 (Description of the Research)

    苟彬副教授长期从事神经科学研究,研究经历包括视觉皮层信息加工机制,行为的神经环路机制,神经疾病的机理,灵长类神经系统的单细胞水平的电生理,形态和分子特征等。现阶段实验室主要使用单细胞测序及膜片钳测序技术,结合电生理、光成像、计算建模等手段研究非人灵长类大脑的信息加工机制、疾病的细胞和分子机理。
