    二、科研领域与研究方向 Research Fields and Interests

    神经系统疾病与衰老引发的大脑结构病变及功能衰退被认为是生物个体认知与运动障碍的根源。为破解这一难题,神经与行为课题组通过建立高度模拟临床病理进展的疾病与衰老模型,基于透射电镜和超分辨成像技术,结合电生理、行为学及分子多组学等多维技术体系,解析神经环路异常与认知改变的关键机制。在此基础上,探索细胞治疗和神经调控等先进治疗策略的新方法与新技术。我们课题组当前重点聚焦的重大神经系统疾病包括:帕金森病(PD)、肌萎缩侧索硬化症(ALS)以及癫痫等。主要研究方向包括:

    • 解析复杂发育和退行性神经疾病(PD、ALS、癫痫)的致病机理
    • 利用灵长类动物模型探索细胞治疗及神经调控干预复杂神经疾病的新方法和新技术

    Neurological diseases and aging drive structural and functional brain deterioration. Utilizing highly physiologically relevant in vivo and in vitro models, our research group leverages a comprehensive suite of technologies, including TEM, super-resolution imaging, electrophysiology, behavioral testing, and multi-omics, to decipher the underlying mechanisms driving neural circuit abnormalities and cognitive impairment. Ultimately, we seek to translate these findings into advanced biological treatments, actively exploring cutting-edge approaches such as cell therapy and neuromodulation. Our current research predominantly focuses on major neurological conditions: Parkinson's disease (PD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and epilepsy.

    • To systematically elucidate the molecular and cellular pathogenesis underlying complex neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, including PD, ALS, and epilepsy.
    • To leverage NHP models to explore and develop innovative strategies and approaches, specifically cell-based therapies and neuromodulation for the intervention of complex neurological diseases.
